Johanna photo 2Prior to moving to New Zealand in 2001, I spent four years in London at the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone, Kent.

Graduating with a degree in osteopathy, I decided to accept an excellent opportunity to come and work in Rotorua.

Rotorua reminds me of my native Sweden and suits my passion for the outdoors, including running, mountain-biking and trail-riding. With the beautiful lakes and forest, this is a stunning location to practise Osteopathy.

Osteopathy gives me the opportunity to help adults, babies and the elderly, and allows me to both treat and advise patients about their problem, treatment, and outcome.

Sambi Nelson

My name is Sambi Nelson.

I was lead to osteopathy through my interest in health and movement and qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in London, UK in 2016.
Having also taught Pilates for a few years, my passion is helping people understand and become more aware of their bodies in daily life through both movement and manual techniques.
What I love about osteopathy is working with people in all stages of life.
The opportunity to come to Rotorua is another adventure for me!
I grew up in Japan, and have also lived in Spain and the UK.
I am very excited to have the chance to come to Rotorua, to practice osteopathy, while exploring another part of the world.

I was born in Kiev, Ukraine and moved to London at the age of 17. I have been practicing sport & holistic massage for over 12 years. After suffering a spinal injury I tried an osteopath and was inspired by the effect it had. I finally had some relief from a two years of pain.
She graduated from a prestigious British School of Osteopathy and practices classic, modern osteopathy & western medical acupuncture to help patients to achieve their goals and manage short and long term health benefit.

I enjoy walking, cycling, cross-country skiing & swimming. She was inspired by a beauty of New Zealand and an opportunity of exploring the lakes, mountains, forests along with Maori culture.
